Project Engineering Manager - R&D

We are looking for an Engineering and Technology Develop Manager to be part of Brazil Technology Team.

• The position shares the supervision and management of the team with the Technology Country Manager;
• The candidate will take a true management role with capabilities to manage the technology resources, plan activities, as well as being involved on ongoing and new projects, to collaborate clients, partners on development and research facilities engagement;
• This position is to be based in Brazil Rio de Janeiro office with functional reporting to Engineering Manager and day-to-day reporting to Technology Country Manager.

• Experience in O&G industry working with SURF and/or SPS projects;
• Bachelor's degree with relevant experience in Operations/Engineering environment;
• Experience in projects with regards to SURF and/or SPS topics;
• Knowledge in technology developments through DNV-RP-A203 is considered a plus;
• Knowledge in ANP regulations as well as other Brazil funding regulations is considered a plus;
• Knowledge of research entities and client technology focal points are considered a plus;
• Strong ability to build peer relationships as well as work independently;
• Advanced problem solving and project management skills;
• Ability to manage multiple teams comprised of managers and engineers;
• Fluency in English and Portuguese is required;
• Advanced technical skills;
• Advanced written and verbal skills;
• Excellent organizing, planning, and presentation skills;
• Must be action oriented, ethical in value, and customer focused with a drive for results. Sound ability to manage time, make quality decisions, and manage and measure work;
• Demonstrated effective leadership skills and strong interpersonal skills.
