Gerente de Fabricação

The Project Fabrication Manager is accountable for the safe and efficient execution of overall Project Fabrication Activities, in accordance with planning constraints, associated cost envelope and project quality Requirements. She/He is the point of contact of Fabrication Subcontractors and Company on fabrication sites

She/He is expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.

·       Manage the selection of subcontractors and in the preparation and negotiation of the fabrication subcontracts

·       Create a culture of Incident-Free workplace, promoting safety as the first value for the Fabrication Team and Subcontractors

·       Manage fabrication subcontractor and ensure compliance in terms of HSE, QA and QC, schedule, cost, documentation and reporting.

·       Coordinate with Engineering and SCM for any aspect related to the fabrication sub-contract

·       Liaise with Site Fabrication Manager to assist him in managing the fabrication team

·       Manage fabrication planning, and ensure Fabricator remain on schedule

·       Manage of interfaces between Company and Subcontractor for fabrication activities, testing and load out operations

·       Maintain good communications with Company and with fabrication subcontractor. Set up meetings when required. Must create a positive “team spirit”

·       Report on a regularly basis the fabrication status including, associated issues, risks, progress, anticipated schedule, etc

·       Identify potential Change order to Company or Subcontractors and participate in change order process, in collaboration with the project team

·       Coordinate and follow-up with Subsea 7’s Vendors and other subcontractors for intervention on fabrication site

·       Follow-up of interfaces with post-fabrication phases (transportation, installation,..) and preparation to approval of subcontractor’s final documentation

HSE

·       Create a positive HSE culture ensuring fabrication subcontractor’s adhesion and implementation

·       Ensure that the fabrication facilities are developing, implementing and maintaining an HSE Action Plan for the worksite

·       Ensure that HSE performance, worksite HSE reviews, safety observations, safety statistics and safety training are reported and reviewed such that trends can be identified and acted on

·       Ensure that Security Plan, if required, is in place to cope with local risks

Quality

·       Ensure that Production Quality Plan / ITP, if required, is in place and followed

·       Ensure that Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) are issued and closed-out, as and when required

·       Ensure consumable and Raw Material are ordered with required level of contingencies/spares and on time and ensure material is stored as per Project requirement and Vendor procedures

·       Ensure Project QC team and Fabricator QC team are building final documentation in a continuous manner

Feedback / Knowledge Management

·       Provide input to fabrication report and as built performance/planning

·       Lead debriefing of project Fabrication phase

·       Ensure that lessons learned relating to fabrication yard are recorded in fabrication reports

·       Develop continuous improvement of yard/fabrication facilities performance.

·       University degree. Desirable at least 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry

·       Relevant experience in fabrication and/or remote worksites

·       Relevant knowledge of Microsoft Project and Fabrication Schedule

·       Motivated and adaptable to work with sudden changes and fluid environment

·       Capacity to adapt quickly to changing situations

·       Execution driven with proven decision making skills

·       Good ability to synthesize information

·       Outstanding communication & organisational skills

·       Fluent in English
