Operational Logistics Manager

The Region Logistics Manager has oversight on the Operational Logistics executed in the region, providing best solutions to project portfolio. She/He also acts as functional manager of the Logistics Team, mainly composed of professionals that are allocated to the projects.

She/He is expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ and Integrity cultures within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local codes and practices.

·      Providing resources and solutions to the projects in Brazil for logistics bases, offshore logistics and logistics between onshore bases

·      Developing mid/long term strategies and partnership to optimize logistics in the region and across projects. Focusing on safety, timely delivery and costs.

·      Responsible for the utilisation strategy and long term plans of the logistics worksites

·      Identify, develop and execute the strategy for logistics bases and logistic vessels/barges including subcontracting when relevant

·      Functional management of logistic teams including project logistic managers, logistics base teams and material trackers. Provide and allocate resources to Projects, either Local or GPC.

·      Developing teams ensure synergy and continuous improvement between projects

·      Managing Niteroi Operational base and any other Subsea7 logistic site

·      Acting as the regional focal point to input tender teams with regards to operational logistics in Brazil

·      Creating a culture of Incident-Free workplace, promoting safety and integrity as the first values for the Fabrication Team and Subcontractors

·      Appying global procedures and developing specific local logistics procedures when necessary

·      Report on a regularly basis the status of Logistics sites including associated issues, risks, progress, anticipated schedule, etc

· University degree.

· Experience, in Oil & Gas industry is a plus

· Relevant experience in Management of projects, Operations and Logistics worksites

· Good experience in management of teams with at least 10 individuals

· Motivated and adaptable to work with changes and fluid environment

· Execution driven with proven decision making skills

· Overall view and strategical skills

· Good ability to synthesize information

· Outstanding communication & organisational skills

· Fluent in English
