Buscamos um Shift Supervisor/Supervisor de Movimentação de Carga para compor o nosso time Onshore em nossa Base Operacional localizada em Anchieta, Espirito Santo.

Overview of Role

Has the responsibility to assure the safe and efficient execution of the work being done by Subsea 7 staff and subcontractors are in accordance with the relevant legislation and Company policies and procedures. This includes adhering to the Company Code of Conduct, Vision, Values and Behaviours, as supported by the Safe System of Working including Accountability of Safety.

Ubu Spoolbase Shift Supervisor is responsible to manage all personnel under his / her responsibility, considering Subsea 7 staff and subcontractors, in order to support pipe fabrication, spooling and vessel load out. Shift Supervisor is also accountable for all aspects of pipe handling and base’s logistics operations and shall assure all maneuvers under his / her supervision are in accordance with company’s and HSE requirements. 

Specific Key Responsibilities & Activities

·       Responsibility for the safe execution of the work in accordance with the relevant legislation, contract, company and project procedures.

·       The Shift Supervisor is responsible for keeping the Facility Manager informed of any change in status of the operation or any additional project’s requirement other than the expected and accorded on shift briefings meetings.

·       The Shift Supervisor is responsible for all handling and support activities performed on Ubu Spoolbase area, such as: pipe handling operations, all subjects related to liftings (TRA, Lift Plans, Safety and etc.), supervision of the efficient usage of pipe handling machinery, support to spooling operations, support to vessel load out, etc.

·       Responsible for SIMOPS management.

·       Maintain good organization and cleanliness in all areas of the spool base.

·       Make sure all company’s procedures are in place prior to commence any kinf of operation under his / her responsability.

·       Be familiar with and implementation of the Subsea 7 management of change Process & Procedures.

·       Interface with project representative to identify critical parts of the work.

·       Interface with project team, subcontractors and client when required.

·       The Shift Supervisor is responsible for interfacing with subcontractor’s management in order to assure all facilitie’s equipments needed by the project team is in a satisfactory condition as regards performance, maintenance and has necessary calibration to carry out the operation.

·       The Shift Supervisor has a specific duty to terminate the operation under his / her supervision if he / she considers that any malfunction or operation of the equipment would prejudice the safety and/or satisfactory completion of the operation.

·       Ensuring that a thorough and detailed handover briefing prior to transferring control of the operation to a relief Supervisor.

·       Maximising the working synergies between project, subcontractors, and base’s facility personnel with regards to pipe handling, management of storage areas and all aspects related to his / her scope of work.

·       Maximising the use of common work processes between project, subcontractors, and base’s facility personnel.

·       The Shift Supervisor shall actively ensure the implementation of the Subsea 7 Competence Assurance Assessment Programme for Personnel engaged in the operation under his / her supervision.

·       Any other duties as directed by Spool base Facility Manager.

·       Ensure Permit To Work (PTW) system is in place and give HSE team all support needed to make assure a safe and efficient shift.

·       Be aware of safety reports and make sure all the HSE team has all support needed to close opened cases;

·       Technical degree is desirable.

·       Desirable at least 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry – Leadership Position.

·       Relevant offshore experience and/or remote worksites experience and/or spool base experience.

·       Experienced on lifting operations including lifting planning.

·       Pipe handling experience is going to be considered a plus.

·       Relevant experience on the elaboration of procedures, Task Risk Assessments (TRAs), Permits to Work (PTW) and Standard Operational Procedures (STP).

·       Motivated and adaptable to work with sudden changes and fluid environment.

·       Ability and availability to work with reduced timeframe.

·       Capacity to adapt quickly to changing situations.

·       Good ability to synthesize information.

·       Good communication & organisational skills.

·       Hability to communicate in English is desirable.
