Senior Control Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Control Systems Engineer, with experience in control and automation of pipe lay, drilling or production systems, to join our Onshore team and support us in delivering challenging projects and services to the energy industry.

• Prepare and revise procedures for software changes and functional tests based on good engineering practices;
• Analyse failures in pipe lay system control system and provide support for troubleshooting to vessels.
• Develop technical specifications for new equipment and systems;
• Provide technical support for maintenance stops and during vessels docking;
• Participate in the development of continuous improvements to equipment control systems aiming the safety improvement;
• Provide remote support for troubleshooting;
• Perform technical interface between the company and original equipment manufacturers;
• Perform sporadic embarks to perform control system changes or supervise complex technical changes applied by OEMs;
• Analyse customer demands and propose the best technical solution available;
• Identify and report systematic equipment failures which are common across the fleet;
• Follow and implement procedures and actions determined by the technical authority;

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering or equivalent technical degree with active Brazilian certificate;
• Experience of 05 years or more in the area of control systems;
• Previous experience in the offshore industry;
• Advanced English;
• Availability to perform embarks.
• Knowledge of Siemens Simatic S7-300, S7-400 controllers diagnostics and programming.
• Knowledge in SCADA and HMI systems;
